How it Works
A done-for-you auction package, with zero risk to your organization.
From curating the right travel experiences for your donors to looking after your winning guests long after the final bid,
we make the process effortless.
The Process
step-by-step
step
01
Choose Your Experiences
Curated for your room, not simply chosen from a catalog.
Explore our collection of handpicked travel experiences, or let us help you find the right fit.
Juliet personally knows the experiences within the Saskia collection and can recommend packages based on your event, your donor audience and the kind of opportunities most likely to inspire bidding.
There is no upfront cost to reserve a package for your auction.
02
Bring Them to Life at Your Auction
We give you what you need to sell the experience well.
Once your packages are selected, Saskia provides the imagery, descriptions and supporting materials you need to showcase them beautifully.
We can also help with suggested pricing and bidding guidance, so your team can approach auction night with clarity around the package cost and the fundraising opportunity above it.
03
Raise Funds for Your Mission
You know the cost.
You keep everything above it.
Every Saskia package has a fixed consignment cost that is clearly provided in advance. If the experience sells above that amount, the difference belongs to your nonprofit.
If it does not sell, you owe nothing. And when the room is enthusiastic? Every Saskia experience can be sold to more than one bidder, creating the opportunity to turn a single auction lot into multiple gifts to your mission.
04
Introduce Us to Your Winner
After the auction, we take it from here.
Once an experience sells, simply provide Saskia Charity Travel with the winner's contact information.
There is no need for your fundraising team to coordinate accommodations, chase availability or manage the details of somebody else's vacation.
We connect directly with your donor and guide them through the next stage of their experience.
05
We Take Care of the Travel
Because the experience after the auction matters, too.
Our service does not end when the paddle comes down. We coordinate the accommodations and experiences included within the package and help your winning donor plan a trip worthy of the contribution they made to your organization.
For guests who would like to take their travels further, our travel partners can also assist with additional arrangements including extended stays, transfers, private drivers, dining and other elements of their journey.
The result is an easier experience for your organization, and a donor who feels looked after,
Confident to bid again.
Consignment Travel vs. a Donated Stay
A donated vacation is generous, but it leaves your team managing dates, availability, and the winner's experience long after the event.
A Saskia Experience is built for fundraising.

What Our Nonprofit Partners Say
What happens if our package doesn't sell?
Nothing.
There is no upfront cost to feature a Saskia Charity Travel experience at your fundraiser, and if it does not sell, there is no fee to your organization.
That is the beauty of the consignment model: you can bring high-value travel experiences into your auction without taking on the financial risk of purchasing them first.
How does our nonprofit make money from a Saskia package?
Every experience has a fixed consignment cost, which you will know before your event.
Anything raised above that amount stays with your organization.
For example, if an experience has a $3,000 consignment cost and sells for $5,000, your nonprofit retains the $2,000 difference.
Can we sell the same experience more than once?
Yes, absolutely. Every experience in the Saskia collection can be sold multiple times.
If several bidders are enthusiastic about the same trip, your auctioneer has the opportunity to offer the experience to more than one of them.
Each successful sale carries its own stated consignment cost, and your organization keeps the amount raised above that cost each time.
It is one of the most powerful advantages of consignment travel.
How do we know which experiences will appeal to our donors?
You do not have to make that decision alone.
Juliet has personally curated the Saskia collection and knows the experiences within it intimately. She can help you consider your donor profile, event style, expected bidding levels and previous auction performance to identify experiences that make sense for your particular room.
Because the right auction item is not simply the most expensive one. It is the one your donors want to win.
What does Saskia provide before the auction?
We provide professional imagery, package descriptions and the information your team needs to present each experience clearly and confidently.
We can also provide guidance around pricing and bidding so that you understand the consignment cost, your fundraising opportunity and how the package might best be positioned within your auction.
What happens after somebody wins?
Your work with the travel logistics is essentially done.
Provide us with the winner's contact details and the Saskia team will take over the travel conversation directly with them.
We coordinate the elements included within their experience, answer their travel questions and help guide the planning process, so your team can return its attention to your organization rather than becoming an accidental travel agency.
How long does the winner have to use the experience?
Saskia experiences offer up to four years to travel, giving winning donors the flexibility to plan their trip at a time that genuinely works for them.
Some experiences have limited blackout dates or are subject to property availability, so we always recommend beginning the planning process early — particularly for popular travel periods.
What is included in a Saskia travel package?
Every package is different, and its inclusions are clearly outlined before it is offered at auction.
Packages include the stated accommodations and experiences. Airfare and transfers are not included unless specifically noted.
Winning guests can also work with our travel partners to enhance their trip with additional arrangements such as extra nights at many properties, transfers, private transportation, dining and other travel services at an additional cost.
Saskia Charity Travel curates exceptional experiences designed to inspire generous bidding, with no upfront cost and no financial risk to your organization. Once the winning bid is placed, we take care of your donor with the same attention, from first introduction to final itinerary.
